Heavy Duty Bariatric Wheelchair: For users up to 400 lb. who need the strength of a heavy-duty frame at an affordable price, the Traveler XD wheelchair is the solution. This model comes with double crossbraces, heavy-duty 5/8" diameter axles, and long lasting, double embossed seat and back upholstery. Available in 20", 22" and 24" seat widths, with 17" seat depth (1" longer than standard). Meets Medicare K0007 specifications for wheelchairs.

We purchased the heay duty Traveler online after his 10 year old Invacare "gave up the ghost."   It is quite a bit heavier to load than the UltraLite, but at 350 pounds, my husband LOVES the wider seat and he says it feels good and solid under him.  I was a little apprehensive about buying such a big item online, but we were well-satisfied with the quick delivery and  we really appreciated the free freight.  I am happy to recommend it; we couldn't be more pleased.
